We’re here to preview the movies that are scheduled to be released this coming week. So get your popcorn ready and read on.

1. “2012”

Release Date: Friday, November 13

Genre: Sci-Fi Disaster Film

Info: The Mayans predicted that on December 22, 2012, the world will end. Now, as the date comes closer and closer, a researcher (John Cusack) leads a group of people to fight against the perils that come with the end of the world. As the tagline says, “We were warned.”

Rating: PG-13

2. “Fantastic Mr. Fox”

Release Date: Friday, November 13

Genre: Children/Family

Info: “Fantastic Mr. Fox” is an animated movie with stars like George Clooney and Meryl Streep voicing the leads. The movie is about a family of foxes who live happily together to stay out of the way of farmers who are obsessed with keeping their chickens safe. But when Mr. Fox’s (Clooney’s) nephew comes in for a visit, Mr. Fox starts to steal chickens away from the farmers again. The farmers force the family of foxes underground in order to catch them. Will the foxes be able to keep the land that is rightfully theirs?

3. “Pirate Radio”

Genre: Musical Comedy and period film

Info: What would the world come to if rock ‘n roll was banned from the radio? In the 1960s, it was banned by the British government. Join a group of DJs on a mission to save their favorite music.

    2012 will be the best out of the three. Although the events won’t come true (at that exact time.) It will be interesting to see what unfolds. I mean anything better than Knowing I give 3-5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Plus the cast will make the movie even better along with the special effects.
