This is a key game in both the NFC and AFC playoff races. The Packers come into this week at 7-4 and in control of one of the two NFC Wild-Card berths, while the Ravens come in at 6-5, behind Denver and Jacksonville for an AFC Wild-Card berth. Last week, the Ravens defeated Pittsburgh 20-17 in an overtime thriller, while the Packers have had over a week off after their 34-12 Thanksgiving Day feast on the Lions. The Packers need this win to keep pace with Philadelphia, the other Wild-Card leader, and to keep the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, and San Francisco 49ers at arm’s length. The Ravens need this win to stay in the hunt, as Pittsburgh, the New York Jets, Miami, Tennessee, and Houston are all lurking.
It’s all setting up to be a great night of football on the frozen tundra at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Kickoff is at around 8:30, but coverage from “The Patriot” will start at 8:00 p.m. Please stop by and make your voice heard.
