During the assembly for the juniors and seniors on December 2, we were told that the next day was going to be some kind of dress-up day.  First off, I wasn’t even sure whether we were supposed to just wear black and gold or to actually dress nicely.  Second, I still have no idea why we did this. Patron something or another?  It seemed like it was ultimately about the buttons because the assembly in the gym on Friday was a raffle.  If the initial of your last name was called, you had to have your buttons on to potentially win a prize. But is this why we got all jazzed up?  Or was it something completely irrelevant?  I’d really like to know, because I felt like a complete idiot coming into school in my black under armor shirt and gold cross country tee-shirt.  I guess I didn’t completely get the whole “patron-button-patriot-dress-up-day” memo.
