Photography by Ashley Moxley. The pep rally took place on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the end of the school day. Senior emcees Maria Edwards and Denzel Varner introduced the JV and varisty cheerleaders, junior Marcus Monroe playing the drums, seniors Jack Hinder and Christie MacDonald performing a skit, and beach related challenges for members of each class and staff members. The pep rally was filled with flashing lights, loud music, and cheers from individual classes. It culminated with the students rushing to the floor, pledging to “protect this house” in the hopes of winning the Under Armour contest.
