Students react to fake profile [Video]

In a social networking experiment designed to investigate the role that social media and internet privacy play in JC students’ lives, “The Patriot” created a Facebook profile for the fictional Heather Williams. In 24 hours, Williams friended 119 students — 16.3 percent of the student body. In this video, students react to the news that Williams was not a real person and that the administration had no involvement in the investigation.
